About Bri

bri was raised on the Canadian prairies.

bri breaks personality tests, though she will tell you it is a problem with their methodology.  Breaking things (usually her own bones) seems to be a side effect of bri's being-in-the-world.

bri does things (too many things, perhaps, which may be why she breaks personality tests).  bri has won the Silver Jubilee Scholarship, the WT MacClement Prize, the USC Post Graduate Scholarship, and the Commonwealth Scholarship (indeed, she often announces 'I am a Commonwealth Scholar' before whatever particularly dangerous thing she is about to do to result in a broken bone).  She has a Bachelor's Degree from Queen's University in International Development Studes and Sociology (it is a double Honours degree, which just means she took *way* too many courses) and a MA in Culture, Globalisation and the City (ha!) from Goldsmiths, University of London. She likes screenprinting, model rocket building (and launching), tin robots, runs LAN parties, reads incessantly, goes to lots of films and dodgy gigs, and prefers her Dim Sum to come from a cart while being shouted at in Cantonese.

She also has a World Record.

If you are investigating bri's employability, she is eminently employable (unless you put too much faith in personality tests).

bri is currently a Margery Trenholme Fellow at McGill University in Montreal, where she is pursuing another Master's degree. This time, bri will be getting a Masters in Library and Information Studies.
